I checked into Comic Rehab
Posted: Mon, 9th August 2010.
Hey you guys!
I am participating in the Comic Artist Rehab this month. Here is an explanation copy and pasted from the site which means they explain it better than I could have.

The program, which runs monthly, co-opts four artists to each draw a four-panel comic every four days for four weeks. Comics are uploaded daily to this project blog where friends, fans and others can offer advice, encouragement and throw underwear.

I have already submitted two of these.
There are three other comicstrippers doing this too, it is worth checking out.

Launch of the Zombie Apocalypse Anticipation Party of Australia
Posted: Mon, 26th July 2010.
Get your ammunition ready, bring your kids home from school, finalise your Zombie Plan and take out that second mortgage to purchase your secret fortress (after all, after next week if the bank manager comes after you it will only be because they want your juicy juicy brains).

Only one week to go. Are you ready? ZAAPA certainly is - for the uninitiated, that is the Zombie Apocalypse Anticipation Party of Australia. Next Monday (August the 5th) the ZAAPA Comicalypse begins!

What if there were a political party with a name so funny you just had to vote for them as a joke? What if so many people thought the same way that you accidentally won them a seat within the Government? What if this party were disturbingly adamant that it was their responsibility to make their country safe against a possible, nay unavoidable, zombie apocalypse? What happens when one day... they are the only hope we have left? This is the story of the Zombie Apocalypse Anticipation Party of Australia.

Supanova 2010
Posted: Thu, 17th June 2010.
I will be at Supanova in Sydney, Australia this weekend (19th & 20th June).

I will have various artworks and zombie posters for sale. There is also a limited number of "Blombo Tales: Canon Fodder".Complete. In its entirety. Yes. That is right, you can read all 60 pages of Canon Fodder well before the online run finishes if you come to visit me and buy the thing.

For non-convention goers or international readers I will be looking to make Canon Fodder available for order in the coming weeks to coincide with the launch of a new comic.

Update: Thanks to everyone who came to say Hi, I had a great time. I hope you enjoy my work.

Videos: Nocturnal Academy
Posted: Sat, 30th January 2010.
I was asked to create some images for Nocturnal Academy. I created eight interior images while another artist created the cover.

For two of the images I recorded my progress and then sped them up to fit under 10 minutes (I am not this fast). The last of the three videos is a sequences of images as I worked through the very first image (I didn't think of recording it at the time). ...(continue reading)

The Science Fiction Timeline
Posted: Sun, 10th January 2010.
Also: It is 2010 and I am still waiting for my jetpack.

Well it seems we've reached 2010. We are officially in the future. I am in the middle of compiling the following (incomplete) list of scientific acheivements that the science fiction genre had promised to us, so I can tick off each year as it fails to live up to expectation and disappoints me.

I'll update it as more Sci-Fi comes to mind. Suggestions welcome. ...(continue reading)

How I Created My Zombie-Girl
Posted: Sun, 9th August 2009.
This is a t-shirt design I've created (available through the store link at the top of the page or here). It didn't occur to me before I started to make a proper tutorial but I'll try to walk you through the steps I've been through. (You can click on each image for a bigger view) ...(continue reading)
