Yay finally.
I will never ponder about the concept of olive oil virginity again. Not all countries participate in grading their oil this was – the US especially (perhaps a bad choice when it seems most of my traffic is coming from the US at the moment) – so here is some useless information to overwrite something useful in your head (apologies if you forget where you left your car-keys because of this).–>

I apologise for working on the ‘live’ copy of my webpage last weekend. It is usually late when I do so (as another form of proactive procrastination – usually avoiding sleep) and as a result I broke things, some of which I didn’t notice right away. Anything that was bad enough to get noticed right away is still generally not a good thing because visitors will see the big awful PHP and\or SQL errors plastered over the screen. These are all fixed now, but if you notice anything that is wrong please email me.

I’ve also temporarily disabled the comments. When I bring them back you won’t need to register on the forum to comment as it will be similar to how comments on Gr’og is working… But apparently it isn’t a copy+paste affair. I hope to have it live before the next update.

Ok, it seems that out of the things I fixed on the webpage it seems that my “last” and “next” buttons allowed you to access comics that had been uploaded but not yet published yet. I have fixed that now and I’m about to fix the comic list in the bottom right corner so that it displays the names correctly again.

However since some of you may have seen next Wednesday’s comics I’m going to release that one now and I will upload a new one for Wednesday when the time comes.

You’ll only have to put up with one more on this theme, I promise. I’m not sure if any enjoys that concept at all other than myself which is why I’ve been staggering them out. The next one will be #56 — #55 will be not be olive related.

How was your Friday the Thirteenth yesterday? Good to hear, I’m sure. So it seems this comic is coming out on Valentines day. That wasn’t deliberate… as should be obvious by the lack of valentininess in today’s strip.

I believe I’ve fixed all the problems created in my latest round of webpage upgrades.

Never code when you are absolutely too tired. I just spent the last half hour fixing it so the comics are delivered properly with the new database method. There is still more to fix but nothing that you’ll see.

Blombo Tales is now updating on Saturdays as well as Wednesdays, also keep an eye out for the storyline which begins at comic #60.
