The gun shook in her boyfriend’s hands, she cried “You don’t want to do this!” He barked “I’ll finish this level even if I am late for work!

Turning on one side his eyes saw the universe grow like a flower, on his other it rushed in reverse. No more nectar dragon eggs he swore.

He sniffled and preened his scarlet feathers already smouldering thin trails of smoke in anticipation of the rising Sun. Tiresome rebirth!

This is a t-shirt design I’ve created (available through the store link on the right or here). It didn’t occur to me before I started to make a proper tutorial but I’ll try to walk you through the steps I’ve been through. (You can click on each image for a bigger view.

First, I was just getting the pose sketched out so I had a fair idea of the direction it’s taking.
